After Dad and the boys left we set to unpacking and soaking up our first weekend in the new place. Naomi came to help with the unpacking and add to the party.

Our table was unable to make it until Sunday, so we did without for the first night. We also were so brilliant as to put all but three forks in the dishwasher so eating supper was a bit of a challenge. The kind of challenge we live for...

Sunday morning we headed over to church to meet up with the family. It had been less than 24 hours but there was still great amounts of hugging and kissing between long lost relatives...
After church Dad took us shopping. He said he was not only going to buy my groceries, but also buy some things he wanted me to eat. Aka, foods to help me gain a little weight back... My Dad is awesome.... While in Walmart we discovered the $5 CD bin and had a blast sorting through it.
Back at the apartment for lunch, still without a table yet enjoying every minute of it. :D

They came. They ate. They drank. It was awesome.

Hanging out in Hillary's room. Note the lovely bedroom set she got off craigslist and yes, the hope chest again.
After the family headed for home, Naomi and I set out to explore. I took her down to the cathedral (which I take anyone who will go with me to because I am madly in love with it). The door to the balcony was unlocked this week, as was the door to the massive pipe organ. This is me, inside the organ. Yes, inside a pipe organ...
We took a quick jaunt down to the castle and got there with 8 minutes left before closing time. We gave ourselves a speed tour before heading back to the apartment to receive the highly anticipated table. It fits perfectly in our kitchen by the way. :) And thus we are off to a fabulous start, with furniture, company, adventure and good friends. God does do beautiful things.
OK, I need another tour!
